Indeed, both the teams will try to win by hook or crook. But that what make it more interesting and exciting. This is cricket and lets treat it only as a game.
its joy to see onself metamorphise from a caterpillar to butterfly ...and so is the transformation from passive captaincy and inadeqaute team-spirit teams to the present team which has high bunch of aggressive and talented boys lead from front by a performing and passionate and aggreassive captain . the talent we had then , was much better than the contemporary teams viz pakistan or for that matter any other team , in terms of the number of all-round players we had then .But we still failed to win against pakistan as we should have ,at home or in their country only because we lacked only one thing ...and that was aggression and passion . as far as my view is concerened , we as children used to look at our top stars with awe , but they used to fail us at the crucial times and while under pressure , even without giving a fight, passive captaincy tactics were sometimes ridiculous .i used to dream about a team , which fights and takes on the opposition with steel and guts ...and now we find our dreams fullfilled in SAVRAV 'S TEAM ....we dont mind losing ...but we shall never go down without a ..cheers to the present Indian Team and all the best of luck and courage and hard work
Indian squad be creul to all pakistani bowlers, fielders and batsman try they dont get any wickets catch or runouts. Just try to hit each and every ball so we can atleast make a single.. and try to ball each ball so perfectly so they cann't and give away the wicket............
Sandu us talking bias. I would have admired his thoughts if he would talked about the dark side of Indian cricket too. There are absolutley no takers that Indians or for that matter any cricketing side have played fair cricket throughout. I strongly disgree with him when he rates Kapil ahead of Imran. Everybody knows Imran was far greater exponent of swing bowling than Kapil or any of his contempories. This is foolish patriotism for me and speaks volumes about his understanding of the game.

I couldnt agree with u more. They wouldnt let me post here coz i have some really nasty things to say about the indians and indian cricket. One thing i want u to know, Sandhu was never a great cricketer and so he wouldnt know anything about anything in cricket. Im surprised he can spell cricket right. If Sandhu is allowed to post an article this biased, i should be allowed to say what i want to, and ive done it in another post. Now its up to rediff to do justice or play foul, for which they blame the pakistanis. One last thing, U guys never had a Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Miandad or Waqar Younis, we are the only ones who ever did. Even tendulkar says pakistan is the most difficult side to play. He was never comfortable with Wasim and Shoaib around, while he could easily handle Waqar Younis. The only batsman like Miandad u will ever have is Dravid, coz he plays cool under pressure. If u have the proper training, which u dont and the Pakistanis do with Miandad and Imran Khan coaching them, Dravid can go on to be ur only batsmen ever to match Miandad. But until then, remember that six Miandad hit against u guys in Sharjah to win the match, and please reply if u have anything to say.
I am really disappointed to see the comments made by Mr. Sandhu about the Pakistani Cricketing legends. I will not get into the nitty gritties since being a Pakistani currently Indian Cricket team is our respected guests and we all should not spoil the good will gesture.
But as far as old players are concerned Mr. Sandhu remarks about Miandad clearly shows his discomfort over the performances which he has shown in 1986 Australasia Cup. With regards to the comments Imran/ Kapil rivalry and Mr. Sandhu's comments about ball tempering, I must recall Kapil's crying over the international media over match fixing. It has been proved that Kapil was involved with other players in match fixing. While disgracing Moin Mr. Sandhu should recall the behaviour of Kiran More behind the stumps.
With regards to umpiring I could not believed in Mr. Sandhu's illusions would simply ignore his childish remarks. Don't go in distant past just see the Indian umpiring in the two previous Pakistan's tour of India and lets see the LBW decision given by Indian umpires in the match when Anil took all 10 wickets.
