comments on for powar

Do not over praise him though he is good allrounder in national cricket, he has to prove it in international cricket. Cricketers like Amay Kurashiah, avishkar salvi, Dinesh mongia ect.. were over praised and are now no where in the list. Let's hope some thing odd happens against powar. This is just my feeling (do not take it other way)

vijay.

hello!
this is ansuman nanda.
this is really a good selection.
but the way kulamani parida is neglected is a matter of great surprise!
he is always neglected as bcos he is from orissa.
this thing should not b repeated in a game like cricket.

Ramesh Powar

I think this boy has the stuff in him to become a regular player for India. Therefore, he has to work hard to retain his position in this talented side since the bench strength is also very good.

Powar: A balanced diet for India
by Amar Deshmukh on Mar 03, 2004 04:59 PM

I have gone through this article and really convinced that Mumbai's all rounder is tough physically as well as mentally. The mental toughness of players is indeed of paramount cosideration aspecially if the opponent is like Pakistan. Like any sports, the cricketing history has proved time and again that average teams truimph in tough and demanding situations and great teams collapse in otherwise contestable games not because of the lack of but due to the premature mental surrender and weaknesses. Indian team has been greatly suffered by this disease and Romesh Powar's inclusion addresses the remedy straightway.

I am sanguine about his stunning performance if given sufficient chances in the forthcoming sporting encounter against arch rival Pakistan.
