I feel its compeletely legitamate for yuvraj to have said those things. What does Rasheed Latif think he's doing calling us - runners up at the wc - underachievers? The pressure is going to be on both teams, given the tremendous emotional stakes involved, but more so on the pakis since they are playing at home. Bottom line is - We got to play hard, and play to win.. and win!!
There is no doubt that you have been a decent wicketkeeper to have played for Pakistan.However you jus do not seem to care for facts & figures. Pakistan off late has been pathetic in its display and it would be a surprise if they could match the Indians on current form.
At the moment India is a better side than pakistan. What ever may be the past record.So the pressure is definately on pakistan and they know it. India has strongest batting lineup and unfortunately pakistan does not have world class bowlers like wasim and waqar in the team right now. This does not mean that india can take them lightly.
Well,What Latif said is a kind of Show-off.He is not in the team anymore,and he just wants many Indian people to react angrily on his comment so he can be in the 'spotlight' again.Many Indian people say worse things to Indian team than Latif has said,how many people are you going to face and answer Yuvraj?Khel kar dikhao,tabhi voh log manenge!Once we beat the Pakis,say ANYTHING you like-everyone will agree with you.I think 'bat' would be a better option than 'mouth' if there are billions of people.
