muralis woes

Murali did something which was best for him. Life would have been hell for him in Australia. As far as the chucking issue if more knowledgeable people with all their modern equipment have exonerated him then what right do we people to blame him of cheating?
The indian players are the best when it comes to facing spin and none of them seem to have any problems with his action. The big spin that murali imparts is because of his flexible wrist which allows him to impart more rotations on the ball than anybody else. I just dont understand how chucking will help spinners, how will it help them make the ball spin more?

Murali Withdraws from Aus tour

This probably happened for the best. If Murali is going to boycott every country that questions his action then the ICC need not even bother analysing his bowling. All we would need to do is write a few news stories expressing our doubts and he would be sure to chicken out of the challenge. The very fact that he is not going tells me that he is convinced he would be no-ball'ed if he tried to bowl at this juncture. All he had to do was not bowl that so called 'doosra' and he would have been okay. Murali's decision only confirms what I've felt all along: that he is in fact a chucker and needs to be banned from all forms of professional cricket until he corrects his action.
