Kale controversy

It's a shame for Indian cricket that a cricketer of Abhijit Kale's class whose record in first-class cricket is some 7000 runs, 24 centuries, avg of about 50 in 84 matches. The first chance that they gave him was at the age of 30, that too against Bangladesh. If Kale had played his first-class cricket for Mumbai or Karnataka or Delhi he would have been included in the Indian team long long back. A great example of this is Sachin Tendulkar's inclusion in the Indian team at the age of 16, when all he had achieved till that time was a triple century in some school cricket match and a century against a poor Gujarat team in Ranji trophy. Secondly, everybody knows that every Indian cricketer who has reached the top, has approached the selectors in one way or the other, at some time in his career, just as Kale had tried to do. One cannot reach the top in Indian cricket unless he has a godfather. Indian cricket is totally ridden with corruption.

It looks like these gangs come to an understanding with the catching police who are always more than eager to make such dealss!!!

The Board of Control and its President have blackened the face and caeer of Kale! It is an axiom of Law that if a person cannot be found guilty on evidence presented, he should be let go. He cannot be punished.
Especially so on the basis of a "confession " made by the accused. Under what pretext or circumstances was the confession obtained-can Mr. Dalmia let the public know?
Usually the enticement offerred is" confess and we will let you go". Was Kale cheated in this regard?
He should come clean on this matter so also the Board and its Officials who sat as Prosecutors, Judge, Jury and Executioners and E

Fixer, Deal maker Dalmia

There is not a shred of evidence against Kale. The selectors and the board were in an embarrassing position after the media disclosure.

Hence Dalmia, the deal maker, forced a sort-of confession from Kale and had him banned for the year. This kind of deal making is typically Indian.
