why with all these technologies the ICC is not willing to adapt them on these controversial LBW decisions? Probably i think they are trying to protect the umpires who are making mistakes who are in ICC panel.
Inzy is just letting out his frustration of his team not making it to the finals on the points system. He has said " it is ridiculous that we win by 59 runs and yet the team that loses goes away with a point." Fine. But he has conveniently forgotten the fact that the same Pakistani side was thrashed by Srilanka in an earlier game with 18 overs to spare !! It was poor captaincy by Inzy during the final overs that let India escape with a point. Spare the points system ! Its the same for one and all !!
we should have laxman in the final,it will strength up our batting order.he is also a good slip fielder.
i don't know why the pakistani's blamming the bonus point system.if there is rules in the game means u have to play according to that.if u are not accord with the pointing systems, then it's better to quit the series before the it's start. In the game against india the pakistani's had enough chance to bold out india with in 240 but sachin&pathan played well to get thet point.
This is outrageous. They should send Laxman back and get a replacement. Afterall Laxman averages in the 20's in pyjama cricket. There are at least 25 players in India who can replace Laxman and score the 30 odd runs that Laxman scores.
Mr Woolmer n Inzi are forgetting that they failed to get that bonus point while playin with Sri Lanka..cuzz they lost soo badly ..(worse than india...i shud say) which makes the bonus pt system fair.. Its not just the wins 4-1 or 3-2, also how they win ..whihc matters now...
stop pointing at the rules and look at u r flaws :)
Had the bonus points system not been in place. Then our old run rate system would have been in place. And I think India's runrate is currently still better than pakistan's. So Mr Inzamam, Wolmer and company things have not gone unjust for you as they seem. Thanks! -Sameer
