Im speechless!
How much is it going to cost this gold mined cricket board to send a replacement just 3 1/2 hrs away by flight?? This is where I cant understand the BCCI. They make good decisions at times, coupled with outrageous ones! Everybody knows that its the 7 batsmen - 4 bowlers formula that has been the secret of India's success off late. So WHY is the BCCI denying them that?...... That too for such a HUGEEEEE game as the next one!!???

Mr. Dalmiya.....DO U ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SUCH AN ENIGMA????

BCCI is not sending anyone because they don't have experienced players to send from India at a day's notice. The only experienced ones available are Ramesh,Wasim Jaffer and SS Das, all not suited for the one day version. Others like Badani,Gavaskar and Dinesh Mongia are all playing overseas. Besides it has become a habit of the team management to ask for replacements every time at the eleventh hour when they play overseas. What were they doing all these days when they were quite attentive to the fact that both Laxman and Zaheer are seriously injured? Anyway it should hardly matter because Sri Lanka are not playing with their 3 stalwarts, Muralitharan, Vaas and Sangakkara tomorrow against India.

why are the BCCI going to wait until the match against Sri Lanka on tuesday has finished. With the form that the India team are in it is most likely going to be too late by then
