Ganguly's captaincy is excellent but he should learn to face shot balls as well as not to interrupt the pacy balls on off stump.He should learn tecnical aspect of batting from dravid.
What the hell are you people talking about,..The main reason behind india's current success rate is GANGULY, THE BENGAL TIGER. Its because of our captain that the cricket world is looking at India with respect. You need a leader to drive a team of varied talents in likes of Sachin, Dravid, Yuvi, laxman, zaheer, pathan and Balaji. And you bet, Ganguly is the one and he's been the one. We should back him up instead of making such mindless no-sense comments. Dhadha,.. we are with u.
It is all a big hype that India is the second best team in the world after Australia. Our bowlers go for runs without able to grab wickets early on in the game. Our batsmen are as unreliable as the Indian monsoon. Our fielding can be rated among the worst. The two defeats against Sri Lanka and Pakistan are a blessing in disguise to help the dumb media to quit hyping up India as the second best only to Australia. If they lose to Sri Lanka in the next match that should hopefully put a stop to the cricket maniacs of India in treating our cricket players as Gods. Why can't the media and the public be realistic and treat the Indian team as just another mediocre team who can perform wonders once in a blue moon unlike Australia who fail to perform once in a blue moon? Instead of giving his silly opinions why cannot Sri Ganguly (and his cohorts) just shut up and perform like the Australian captains(and players) do in almost every other match?

Can anyone give me one reason why Ganguly is in the team. Over the past 3 years, apart from scoring the odd hundred or fifty or so, to maintain his place as captain & maintain his average, what has special has he done? He is fit to be only the non-playing captain or the MANAGER of the team.
The Pakistanis can be lethal and should not be underestimated. The so called Master Blaster , Mr.Tendulakar does nt seem to be shining with the bat these days (hope he does something today ..While I am writing this S Tendulkar batting 15 14 2 0 ) . One also wonders where Laxman disappeared .... Wasnt he the penta centurion ??? .....
Hope India wins this , but I dont have high hopes ....

well Ganguly i dont think deserves place in indian team because he is poorest filder ,bowler and batsman.We should not go by past record ,for me he should be out of the team to get a balanced team ,he also fears when he bats .
Ganguly ur a good player and pls ask ur batters 2 do basic thing right like running between wks, running on shorter path, proper shot selection,,,,Balaji seems lost 2 day,Irfan has a good control,,ask balaji 2 have better control on his bowling 2day he released all the pressure exerted early by erfan and this will be the main cause od our defeat if u loose 2 day,,,,
