Ofcourse India is an overrated side. Just like England's football team, the Indian cricket team is definitely overrated. Cricket is a way of life in India, and we expect our team to do really well. But over the years, we cannot deny the facts. Australia and South Africa are probablly the best test sides in the world. India has not performed really well outiside of india - the Pakistan tour was excellent, but I don't think it is enough to make us one of the top test teams. The Indian Batting is a bit over rated. Dravid for long has been India's best player, especially abroad. Ganguly has not performed really well in the last couple of years. He is a good player of ordinary bowling and struggles against really good bowling. Sachin has lost his edge a little bit and is not as fit as he once was. We have to allude to the fact that he has played top notch cricket for more than a decade and half, and the fatigue is definitely begining to show. IKP and Balaji have bowled well for India, but are definitely not among the top 5 or even 10 bowlers in the world. Nehra and Zaheer have been in and out of the team with injuries. Prathiv has not really established himself so far.India is overrated
