Australian players applaud Shane Warne (left) as they walk back to the pavilion after the end of the Sri Lankan innings.
Warne, who took 3 for 129, now has 523 Test wickets. He needs a further 5 wickets in the second innings to break Muthiah Muralitharan's world record.
Resuming on their overnight score of 411 for five, Sri Lanka lost their last four wickets for 10 runs
