by Ramana Kumar on Jul 12, 2004 12:22 PM

Yes. Sachin is goal for Cricketers in the World because he has crossed almost all records as batsman. If anyone wants to be good cricketers then he has play like him and learn lot of things from his game and as well as his behaviour.

I am proud as India.Sachin is one of the player in Indian Team.

All the best Sachin.
Keep it up ever and forever for India.

I am really worrying how Indian team will be without Sachin but anyway lot of Young Players are coming with good Cricket

Sachin shld retire today itself

For only those who can read cricket, sachin is the foremost villian of cricket today. The 10 play for the team, this guy only plays for himself and for records.

Its a English media googly !!!
by sameer on Jul 12, 2004 12:01 PM

Again a very gud example of English n Indian Paprazzis to create false sensation....somethin very ridiculous and roobish to discuss... At age of 29- 34 a batsman goes into his best years.....and we ask a greatest sportsperson of this country sir when shall u hang u r boots , boots which hv given the countrymen reason 2 cheer, bats which hv prouced magical moments in the eraa when media and political leaders and film stars have created a lull....the person who provides sheer joy to the country men....is asked 2 retire...without whom the cricket at world wud not be the same..... A modest person, humble person who plays down his greatness is targetted by those goons in the media who have no right to speak abt him.....channels Like AAj tak, ndtv, zee journalists like prem panicker question him....what hv they done of credit as equal to Sachin...Be the case of ferrari or 194* the great man comes under fire...... Why dont we honor or preserve our national icon.....Be it a richie rich or a poor person who fights hard to get food for survival, all cheer when Sachin hits a four....and whole country goes in silence when he s out.......Its cos of Sachin tht this country is still cheering!!!!!

Tendulkar, a genius, kindhearted, the greatest sports person in the world. No one equal to him, will play cricket in more two world cups. He is the Mt.Everest, who can catch him? He must make 50-50 centuries in both versions of the game. None can reach u. God is always with u. All the Indians who r pride of u r with u. We expect u to hit centuries n centuries in the forthcoming matches. U r the ruler in cricket n EVERGREEN celebrity in the Indian history.

I am praying to Almighty God to give you more strength and courage to play and answering to this type of question in future. by Kalyan Shivamurthy on Jul 12, 2004 11:18 AM

Common guys, I think you journalists are not getting any news it seems and so you want to create it. what the hell made you to discuss such a topic. Can you imagine Indian Team without the MASTER BLASTER. He is still so fit that he can challenge some guys who are in their early 20s. So why this bullshit!!!

Media is not doing the right thing
by Mahesh on Jul 12, 2004 10:44 AM

Why do you media people bring this question at this time? Tendulkar is still one of the most consistent performers and arguably "The Best Batsman in the World". You media people project him one time as the "Batting Genius" and now at his age of just 31, you ask him, are you planning to retire?...this is ridiculous. He is a better judge to know when he is supposed to retire. So please stop making these statements.
