it will not be a real test as first of all india can make a clean sweep against aussies in home series both in test and odi matches. then they can not be regarded asworl champs.moreover the venue of series should be either in england or in some neutral veneue like sharjah, toronto etc.

Wat makes u to think india is number 2 at present..They lost 10 of the 13 finals..If you think just becoz a team goes to the world cup final ,then it is no. 2 team then kenya shud b ranked 4th..We lost to windies in the one day series,drew with england and lost to australia(all in india)...In test we are a 25 points odd behind australia which is a huge huge difference...I am not against india being rated high but it is high time we value our team based on performance and not hype...Can you tell if srilanka won a test in windies and won one test in england and australia ,will you rate it number 2 in tests..sorry if i had offended u.
Australians ailing from the Indian Tour down under want to prove again that they are world champions. I feel there should be a neutral venue for this Championship. If australians and rest of the world is the final criteria then australia will play with players all from different nations in their own soil. I think venue should be decided whichever team plays rest of the world will not play the finals in their home country.
If a team wants to prove their talent they should beat another team in different conditions rather than familiar conditions that will be the real test of the team. Excluding australia if any other team plays rest of the world in australia then the venue for the series down under is justified.
I personally feel that which ever team plays rest of the world should not host the series.

Its tough enough they have to take on the best in the world. If even the best of the world can't beat Australia at home then that says something about the strength of this Australian Side. But i personally feel the Rest should be able to beat them.
What would be really good, the best of Asia against the best of world. Imagine, Shoab, Muarli, Inzi, Sehwag & tendulkar taking on the world!
