Boycott is a great cricketer. I guess he wud have given some useful tips on the art of batting. Boycott loves Indians and viceversa. We all pray the almighty for his well-being.
In his playing days Sir Geoffrey never threw away his wicket. Even his responses to the media at the end of the present stint seem equally sound. The great Yorkshireman valued and protected his wicket with fierce dedication and intense committment. He has done the same with the trust and confidence our players have shown to him during the brief interaction. We wish Sir Geoffrey all the best in his work and good health always.
He knows cricket, he maintains his decency and he is an admirer of quality cricket! Not to mention, he places India in that category too! Three cheers for the gentleman :->
