Well done Akash
by Satyajit Muraleedharan on Feb 06, 2004 12:04 AM

Splendid team effort apart from Akash's efforts.
This Indian is vastly different from the team that have toured in the last 15 years. There was a will to achieve and the spirit to survive the best attack in the world...Keep surging Team India!

Good luck, young man!

The article has essentially been well organised, only I would
slightly disagree with the last line. The 96 which Sunil Gavaskar
scored against Pakistan in his last test innings was not simply a
"fighting 96". I believe that was the best test innings I have ever
seen in my life and most probably will ever see!

It was a great job done by the gritty opener.
