Its your mistake Mr Vamsee.
the world cup was in 1979, and then in 1983
The world cup you are talking about was in 1992 but the match that this quiz talks about is 1980-81

So better get your cricket knowledge checked and Dont commit mistakes in finding others mistakes.

And yes, IN the Benson and hedges world cup that you are talking about India infact did very well to lose to australia but just 1 run.
