The Indian tail does not contribute at all. They do not do much justice with the ball but they are even worse with the bat.
The Indian bowlers also do not field very well.Even if the ball comes near them in their over, they do not even bother to bend and pick the ball.Indians must learn from Andy Bichel. His dismissal of Arvinda De Silva in his last match was very brilliant.India must reach upto those standards to become a world best team.
They must also be able to perform under pressure. When under pressure like on 9th,the Indians become too humble to win the match.People like Zaheer Khan feel the pressure a lot and end up giving more runs in extras than anything else.I also feel that no balls being bowled by spinners is criminal. In yesterday's match of Australia and Zimbabwe not a single no ball was bowled by the Aussies. This is dicipline.Come on Indians wake up
i don't understand why this happens to indian team quite frequently.once you start thinking that the indians are proceding towards a comfortable victory, the middle worder will collapse.one day it's something like bright sunshine and the next day it's raining heavily.one wonders at to why the lower order can't handle the pressure like other teams.
it was not the tail that was at fault.indian batsmen except sehwag and sachin did not take risks.against australians u have to take risks.ganguly did not even attempt one lofted shot against the spinner.dravid and laxman did not try to take any risks either.it is for the top 4 batsmen to keep going ahead at full steam.but let me add as a final word, it was not the final and it does not matter that much.

The top 4 batsmen can only perform if they know that the people after them can score runs. They can take risks only if they know it will not harm the team's progress.Besides it is people like you who sit at the computer and yap your heart out.If the batsman does as you say "Take risks" and loft the balls you say that so and so gifted their wicket to the Aussies or so and so has done match fixing
Indian cricket needs greater concern. Look at the selection: Badani, Bangar, Balaji look strong in domestic records, but crumble when it comes to internationals. Perhaps the policy to build the youngs stronger has to be revisited. One Zaheer is injured, and you have no alternatives! Agarkar performed this time, but he is always a gamble for his captain. India must revise its strategies to train dynamic bowlers. Kumble has not too many years left, and Bhajji is always shaky. Who next? You saw the next-Indian-Spinner Kartik perform. Any optimism? The top-three (Sachin-Sourav-Dravid) will be going in 3-4 years. Who then? Yuvraj-Kaif are good, but they display no potential to match these Trio. Indian critics like our beloved Srinath do not read into these future crises, and blindly express optimism that we will be World No 1! Optimism is good, but it requires inevitable support from reality. One never ably builds a castle in air. Why cannot we prepare some hard and fast tracks in Simla or Darjeeling and train our fast bowlers?
Friends, We should not read too much into these happenings. True that it hurts, but we have had some huge run-chases that made us euphoric. The players are human, and can crumble; as sometimes they come out brave. Indian tail is historically fragile, and it is too much of expectation to see them marvel. If you notice, the RRR was always above 6/over. And, the openers were relatively slower than usual. Good that they made a stand of 103, but slow RR caused more pressure on the tail. Second thing, in stead of playing too many bowlers, India should have thought of a Batsman (Badani or Rohan) in stead of either Balaji or Bangar. Bangar has potential, but potential is null when not delivered.
Ha Ha...this is a very nice place to see public opinion...after every match, if India wins...they praise the players..the sky is the limit...but after a game which they loose...they give great galis...that is cricket...all part of the game...keep it up guys...keep posting...we all enjoy this...
indian people say any thing. nor any team can even come close to the no 1 indian bating line up. it was just a start . go india go . u can do it. again surprise everybody as u all doing it frm last 1 and 12year.
No Doubt that the Famous(5) Tail-ender's have again done it.....n it had to happened(no Disaappointments)....if u need 10 runs in for a win and 5Wickets in hand, please do not replay on the famous 5 for the victory...coz they play like road side cricketers...
