Kumble deserves all the praise for a fine, intelligent, working to a plan performance against the top order australian batsmen.
Kumble is one of the intelligent cricketers we have in our team. He was really confident of doing well offshore with all the comments in the press leading to the series and I am sure Kumble had planned different stratergy for every top order australian batsmen.
You can make good batsmen out once with good bowling, but to make them out consistently in three tests you have to have a clear plan and the authors analysis of his bowling proves that Kumble is a Thinking and possitve cricketer...
sir, my view is the climatic conditions in aussie helped anil to perform well.In addition cracks in the pitch is very helpful.if shane warne would have appeared he might bowl better than kumble.
Obviously, he has observed Kumble's bowling very closely and come to the right conclusions. It has to said that kumble used his experience to get his wickets leaving behind a rookie attitude.
I dont agree to his asertion that Ponting is good player of spin. On evidence, he is anything but that. Although, he has scored a ton of runs against India, most of them were when Harbhajan was not around.
