India's peak, not Australia's decline

It may seem that Australia missed McGrath and Warne, but we all forget that we too missed Srinath (recently retired), Zaheer(injured). So we didn't have any of our strike bowlers. As a matter of fact Autralia had much more experienced fast bowlers in comparision to India. In the spin department too although Kumble was excellent Parthiv Patel and the umpires did enough harm to ensure that he couldn't do any lasting damage. In the first innings of the third test( the test that we lost), he had nearly got the full Australian team LBW and the commentators would agree with this. But the umpire was just not convinced when the hock eye view was showing that the ball would hit the middle stump. Also Parthiv Patel was misreble with the catching and stumping.A specialist wicket keeper is not expected to commit so many mistakes.
The performance of the Indian batting line up in the series was the best and much better than any other batting line up in the world, at present. Thus it is nto Australia's decline but India's peak that is makngi Australia look small.India surely dominated the series and deserved to keep the trophy.
Three cheers for India.

You people will only know how to criticise.

Learn to respect from your OWN country to whom the world has knelt down.

Don't argue with people giving these 3 statements...

1. Sharukh / Amir is better actor than Amitabh
2. Asha Bhosle is better singer than Lata
3. Rahut / Ganguly is better batsman than Sachin

Anyone giving these 3 statements is simply ignoring the facts and trying to stand out from the crowd... They just don't have analytical mind and pulling India back by 10 years

Hello it was sad to hear about your view's about sachin. Dravid is a good batsman but we never lost a game when dravid got out, when saurav got out. We lose a game when sachin gets out. Dravid has changed his game since a couple of years, Laxman is never consistent in oneday arena, Kaif and Yuvraj are just recent findings. What do you expect a opener to do. To give you a quick start, then consolidate in the middle overs and then give a bash at the end. He is a open batsman of India not a bounded labour what for other superstarts are there.

Mr Sesh ,

This is just for ur knowledge :>
1) When India chased 316 against Pakistan , the result went into India's favour only after Sachin's quickfire 44 and ofcourse Ganguly 124.
2) India vs Australia Sharjah :> Dont u remember Sachin's two back to back 100's ( 134,143 if I am not wrong) because of which India won the finals and a match for qualifying for finals .
3) World Cup 2003 India vs Pakistan :> It was once again Sachin's 98 because of which India won against their arch rivals.
Many and many more instances like this.........

People like u always keep on screaming that Sachin is not a match winner , come on his records speak what sort of player he is.

hi
some of you die-hard Sachin fans and those who concluded that I was stupid just because I criticized Sachin's poor ability to rise to big occasions and ofcourse the specimen who concluded that I don't have respect for my country men because I criticized Sachin's ability to finish - what can I say to you? Someone with 10yrs experience has now stopped playing cover drives or anything on the off side (hope you saw the match or the scoring chart) because he is unable to control his shots. A quick fire innings is fine if Sachin were a KSrikant but for all the eulogy which surrounds him he must learn to finish the match. No one expects him to click everytime, but when he is in form, he has to.He fails in crucial innings, or inconsistent, fires but gets out in a curcial juncture when all that was required is to maintain momentum. These are qualities you can expect from an immature but good batsman like Sehwag or Kapil but not from Sachin.Don't count total runs in a series, see if he made a consistent 60-70 every appearence.I agree with Imran, he is yet to prove himself in big matches. He's a great cricketer but he can't handle pressure. Playing well is fine but finishing counts!!

I completely agree with Sesh, guys we donot want to be emotional. Sachin is a class player and he wud hold all the records in the world BUT HE IS NOT NOT MATCH WINNER EXCEPT FOR 2 sharjah wins against australia. Actually there were many instances where if sachin wud have stayed for another 15-20 mins ndia wud have won but alas he gets out.
But he is world's greatest batsman ever ...

i guess in this world u do not get everything
