Great Performance
by Pathanjali on Jan 08, 2004 10:03 AM

Indian batting was absolutely Scintillating in this series. The batsmen have come of age and are showing world class performance. Three cheers for the heros Dravid and Kumble. Now we only need a proper bowling lineup and we can be in the no. 1 spot. All the best to the whole team for the ODI series. Live up to the expectations of your people back home. Remember you have to take revenge for the defeat in the finals of World Cup and the series at home.

Thanks to Laxman and Sachin for their Great contribution to the mammoth total. We could not even think of a victory but for the contribution of Kumble an unassuming veteran.

I think Australians especially Greate man Steve! have recognised the talent of VVS Laxman. That is why they give greate respect for Laxman( better than other Indian players)

India should play more tests than LOIs so that our batsmen could improve their ratings

Me Myself and Tugga
by Kishore on Jan 05, 2004 11:23 PM

It's been an emotional series for me personally.
As a patriotic Indian I would want India win the test series very badly. However the Heart says that my Favorite man & team should not loose this last test.
The last few weeks have been really tough...and draining..Its just a sport but I'm living cricket.
Tugga has been my favorite right from the days when he made his debut and claimed a catch...in one of his early one day games. His 200 , red kerchief, world cup century , baggy green were one of my best moments.Great moments....Great Man , Legend....
It's very sad to see him defeated in his last farewell match...but what an amazing farewell he is getting.....this blokw was a street fighter..was ruthless and agressive in his approach.
As the Aussie commentators say..this has been a Ripper...
All the very best for Waugh, Lynetter, Roise , Lilly and Austin...they would love him back , the team's loss would be their gain and he they would get him back on track doing his errands...playing cricket with Austin....

All the very best....

by Dr. Cajetan Coelho on Jan 04, 2004 01:37 PM

Congratulations to Sachin for his massive effort in Team India's first innings at Sydney. Players and lovers of cricket across the globe are aware of the enormous talent Sachin is gifted with and he has not let us down. In the company of the confident and artistic Laxman, maestro Sachin contributed in style what we all expected of him all these weeks. The great outgoing Australian skipper has been gracious in acknowledging the class and flawless exhibition of cricketing genius of Sachin and Laxman. Our thanks to Sachin and Laxman for raising cricket to yet another higher and glittering horizon of human art. When in full flow, Sachin, Laxman, Ganguly, Dravid and Sehwag are all sublime poetry bringing enormous peace, joy and thrill in our day to day life. We love it all !
