There it is again.Sachin plays an innings once in a while and the media takes over the charge.It's something that I can't ever understand.It is known that Sachin is a gr8 player,but that doesn't mean that gifted players like Dravid and Laxman have 2 live under his shadow.Dravid's commitment 2 the team is above anyone else.It's easy 2 play some flashy strokes and win the crowd,but it takes a lot of character to play a gritty innings as Dravid has played everytime in crisis.So stop giving much hype 2 Sachin and spare some attention 2 one of the greatest players who wears the Indian cap with pride.....

It's just unfair and pathetic to throw the lime light on Tendulkar once again. It's just sheer stupidity on part of you journos to take Laxman out ofthe headline when he desrves more than anybody else. May be you pathetic journos suck but look what Wisden has written ; look what Gilchrist and Waugh had to say ; I saw the match. As Widen's Verma rightly says ' Cricket is blessed by Laxman'. You pathetic sports writer need to remember that Dravid , Laxman,, Ganguly Sehwag Kumble more often than not saved and won the test matches for India and NOT Tendulkar. Tendulkar is no MATCH for Gavaskar.Stop doing Tendulkar Bhajana and give due respect to laxman for heaven's sake. Tendulkar in HIS LIFE TIME can play like Laxman
I think Sachin's double ton at the SCG was a smashing answer to all his critics who were writng him off and were bent upon sachin bashing. i remember seeing an internet site hich was actually asking 'Should Sachin be dropped from the team?' well, i think his performance must have shut all those big mouths who were wagging their tongues a bit too early. Sachin is the world's greatest and will be the World's greatest batsmen and we, Indians should be proud of it. Kudos to Sachin.
i like the way u play ur game but why dont u play continous in every match and the full team depends upon u itself suppose u dont then the team is gone so my message is pls play with a confidence in every match whether it is a odi`or test matches so sorry if i hurt ur feelings

No, my dear friend Cedric, you are highly wrong! Gone have those days when the Indian team & each & every cricket lover of India used to depend on Tendulkar & Tendulkar alone to win matches. Gone have those days when Tendulkar getting out cheaply meant India at the losing end! This scenario has changed drastically of late. What was Tendulkar's contribution as a batsman in the 2nd Test at Adelaide which India won? I am not playing down the two vital wickets of Damien Martyn & Steve Waugh which he had taken & the 37 runs he had scored in the 2nd innings. In fact, those 2 wickets & 37 runs did play a very crucial role in India's win. The most pleasing aspect now is that India can still win matches without any significant contribution from Tendulkar. No problem if Tendulkar gets out early; we still have Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Sehwag etc. who can shoulder & share the burden & guide India, if not to the winning shores, at least to the safety shores!
Yes He played well at last.i think this double century aint gonna help india for a second victory. he took so many times to make this double century. But i dunno medias boosting Sachin like this. He is not a Class player or Match winner like Dravid or Ponding or any other class players in cricket world. he made highest scores for only his own records. he need only popularity and money.I think he never thinking the match position when he is in the creese.so many exmples i have India lose mathes cos of his selfish play. He is not better than Dravid and Lakshman.I think Dravid is the one of best player ever india and world. he is class player ever but he never got support from medias like sachin. I think Sachin is only a middle order batsman for india. when he made big scores, that only for him self.if India can give a chance to Uvraj for a long time opening batsman in one day match. may be he also can make more than 30 centuries in his carrier. but i think he will give importent for match not for his own record like sachin. so sachin is not a match winner and a super player of the world.SACHIN YOU SHOULD LEARN FROM DRAVID, WHAT IS CRICKET.

i think it is really unfair to criticise somebody like sachin who has proved his commitment and dedication towards the game so many times,inspite of reaching such heights he has remained humble and modest.not anybody who plays for 30 years in the opening slot can achieve what he has so far,he is the best player and his sincerity towards cricket can never be questioned,it is foolish for anybody to even think of teaching him cricket
