Srinath was talented no doubt but he really possesed the fire or the instincts to turn the game around. These are qualities which is essential for a coach. He can motivate or analyze the game and make the moves to surprise the batsman. Srinath's body language is always good even if someone hit him for one four. With this kind of attitude,he can motivate the youngsters. As for tricks, he was fast and mostly accurate. & improvised with variations or swing. He would prove to be an improvement, to say the least!
It is too much too expect from him ...Small things like pitching the ball at right length was too much of effort for him.Sri was more than content to bowl short of length stuff thru his career . So readers please don't expect too much from him even here :)
Srinath was talented no doubt but he really lacked the fire or the instincts to turn the game around. These are qualities which is essential for a coach. He can never motivate or analyze the game and make the moves to surprise the batsman. Srinath's body language appeared always demoralized even if someone hit him for one four. most often he would never recover after that (even in the 2nd spell). With this kind of attitude, how does he expect to motivate the youngsters. As for tricks, he was fast and mostly accurate. But never improvised with variations or swing. He would prove to be a disappointment, to say the least!
