As a Pakistani I would love to see Indian team in action in my country but Rediff seems totally against this series. Grow up. Lets enjoy. Life is too short to be spent cursing each other.
Or an invitation to war? This is a 60,000 dollar question. Crowds are unpredictable. A little slur against one is enough to spark the fire, and a stone is good enough to kill the tour. BCCI is quite correct in including a clause in the agreement to terminate the tour in such an eventuality. While many Pakistani ex-cricketers are in support of this tour, then there is Javed Miandad whose comments on another site do not reflect good diplomacy. But then, Pakistan wants to build an atmosphere of goodwill. Will it exist? That's the question.
Suddenly security is an issue again....Listen the Paks didnt go home crying when the RSS....dug up a whole picth..lets not get worked up here.... both sides know its no big deal...and I say this again.. dont go if u are SCARED....BUT THE INDIAN TEAM MUST GO TOPAKISTAN!
dear sir/madam it is really painful to see the hype media has creted relating the sports spirit to peace ,this series is a venture which i think is not going to solve atleast kashmir issue, and if not then why to send our heroes to the land which is not safe even for their citezens,i think no one can find any sport if the life of the persons involved is threatened.
I don't understand why the writer of this article is creating unnecessary fuss about small issues.
1) Under the ICC regulation all the test teams have to play each other. Unless there are some genuine security concerns, India can't avoid this series. And after SA, B'desh, NZ have toured Pakistan recently, India is left with very little ground for cancelling the tour. It is not under our or BCCI's control to decide how Pakistan projects this tour.
2) It's a well known fact that the cricket body of the host country earns more profit than that of the touring country. We can't stop this tour just because we fell Pak board will gain more benifit out of it.
