Indian crickets should not go to pakistan, because the part of money received by the way of cricket in pakistan has to moove in the hands of terrorist... The same money utilised to infiltrate the terrorist in india after few months....
Is the home ministry really concerned about player's security. If so, what difference is it going to make in May. We rather not have the tour than postponing it. For now, all we can think of are the elections. Another lesson that politics and sports don't go hand in hand.
given the fact that the BJP had a swing in its favor after India thrashed Pak in the kargil war, any kind of win or loss over pak is likely to affect BJP's poll prospects in favor or against it. With India's ephimeral form, Advani wouldn't want to risk his party's bright poll prospects on this kind of an event. particularly, because our cricket fans are so passionate. Its time our players are disciplined and taught to be consistent. A player's position in the team should be based on his last five appearances and not on the basis of his past records. They have to learn to be match winners and not just record-holders. Tendulkar for starters needs to be dropped. He has lot more endorsments at stake and if he cared more about cricket he'll fight back to form and learn to win matches for us. Ganguly, he is pathetic and spineless in his batting (though he is the best fit as a captain). Time to make matchwinners like yuvraj/laxman/dravid as leaders and drop spineless and irresponsible but heavily paid record-holders from the team.
Atlast ! Somebody has decided to put a stop to this merry-go-round ! The way the BCCI was pushing this tour, it made me wonder if Mr.Dalmiya watched CNN or had any newspapers delivered to his home ! Matches scheduled In Peshawar & Karachi and blatant disregard for players' security concerns - that the BCCI really did not have the players' security as its top priority was further confirmed by this statement: "The BCCI is willing to go ahead with the tour. But the Board cannot take the responsbility for the security concerns of our leading players. The matter has to be decided by the home ministry. We will go by their advice," Shukla said". Excuse me ? How can the Board not worry about security ? It's not as if the Union Ministry or the players are dying to play cricket in Pak. The BCCI would like to make all the money arising from the tour but, is not prepared to bear any of the risk ? If the BCCI is making such statements even before the tour starts, could the players really count on the Board in the event, God Forbid, there is some disruption during the tour itself ? Only thing the BCCI is capable of is hide behind red tape and pass the buck. No, Thank You.
GoI has done a great job. Congratulations to them. India should be least concerned with who has spent how much out side of country. The security of players is beyond any value. And secondly why help the country financially who keep sending the terrorist all over the world. Dawood Ibrahim is in Pak peole who say the tour should go on can they say same when their own near one is killed by pak sponsired terrorist. This tour should never take place. Let the gamblers and bookies from all middle east and all over world be at financilal losses. BTW think of the players too on one side we complain too much of cricket is played and at the same time if there no match for 3/4 weeks or so we miss them.
this is not fare . in in side ur saying that there shoud be better relation with pak and other side ur not in favoiour to send india a tour for pak before electoins why. regards rajnish
