anil is like an organm in the indian cricket body, and its really not fair 2 complain against him when he fails in a match or two.anyway we r hoping that the "legendry" leggie gets going 4 atleast 2-3years. Goodluck anil bhai!plz continue...!
We appreciate Anil for the very honest observations he has made regarding his own abilities and the efforts he has been making to serve the interests of Team India to the best of his abilities. Like many like-minded people some of us fully agree with the comments and observations made by our current and all time great spinner Anil regarding the role our media could play to get out the best from the chosen set of players for any given tournament. We are all well aware that International commitments overseas are never easy and the players definitely need tons and tons of good wishes from fellow countrymen and admirers. In alien conditions our players have to face and get acclimatised to so many factors some of which are beyond their control and their cricketing abilities. Javagal Srinath has been writing some very positive columns and we are very grateful to him. Being a former member of this very team Srinath knows his mates well and that adds greater substance and meaning to his very valuable columns. Such columns will go a long way to boost the morale of our players and will encourage them to perform even better. And that is just what we all want from our gallant boys. Good luck !
Anil, If you have limitations & if you are only finding your limitations, better you call it a day man. Give chance to youngsters. Dont play for records & have an idea of coming closer to Kapil Dev. Infact he also waited for that record. Be humble. There are players who can give best not only in bowling but in fielding & in batting too. How many times you have used the oppurtunity of batting. I can c only couple of times in Bnagalore against Aussise & in calcutta with Azhar against SA. & ur fielding is pathetic. Infact u scold younger players when they misfield, which may be disheartening for them. So be diplomatic. u have done ur job for India we are proud of it.
