Its a shame for India
by Ajit on Dec 26, 2004 10:38 PM

India had to pay the price for under estimating Bangladesh and resting some of their key players. An international match should not be used for experimenting and any sporting team should try to field its full strength team as the aim should be to win the maximum matches. No team should throw away a match like this to minnows like Bangladesh. Its a shame for India and especially for Sourav Ganguly for poor captaincy. He must remember that every time luck will not favour him. He must now wake up to the reality before the last deciding match

Loss to Bangladesh - ODI
by T.P. Viswanathan on Dec 26, 2004 10:37 PM

Congratulations to Bangladesh on their maiden ODI win in home country, that too against the paper tigers "India".

It was Ganguly who started the procession. while advising his partner to exercise restraint, he himself fell a victim of indiscretion.

This Series has proved beyond doubt that Indians, particularly the so called elite top order batsmen, cannot play good bowling and fielding. Bangladesh bowlers are surely better their Indian counterparts. To meet the challenges ahead, what all they have to learn and practice are 'staying power',cool temperament and partnership building.

Indians have eaten the humble pie for the lack of application of their batsmen

pathetic display
by eswar on Dec 26, 2004 10:36 PM

it is pathetic to see our(india) batting. but my full hats of to bangladesh who played outstanding cricket. they played very commitedly. every frame of today's game goes to bangladesh. genuine display from the bowler mortaza who also displayed excellent batting and fielding. the only thing to blame on indians is they take things very litely.resting major players like sachin, pathan and well known bhaji is seems to be stupid.

i hope they will put a better show on monday. let hope for the best.
