Harbhajan's action reported
by Sujay Bhattacharyya on Dec 21, 2004 12:13 PM

It is really sad that bowler like Bhajjy has been reported for wrong bowling action. Is Bhajjy the only bowler doing the wrong action ? What about Brett Lee, Shoaib Akthar's bowling action. Are they doing the same in right fashion. Request ICC to take action in similar fashion to everyone who did the same faulty action otherwise question may arise about the decision whether it is neutral and above board.

Why never Lee?
by spc on Dec 21, 2004 11:37 AM

Why has Brett Lee never been reported for suspct action? After Muralitharan, Lee appears to be the biggest chucker in world cricket. But being a white, he continues to escape the notice of ICC umpires and match referees.

Thanks

Bhajji,s action
by Anant Khairnar on Dec 21, 2004 10:53 AM

It is not first time to give report on action of Bhajji by umpires. ICC & membars of ICC should report secretly. They should forward the report if found error in action after test. I hope Bhajji will not worry on this action & He will concentrate on his bowiling. Best luck to Bhajji.

No white bowlers reported - surprise , surprise !
by SSR on Dec 21, 2004 10:39 AM

How is it that only Indians, Sri Lankans and Pakistanis get reported for suspect actions !!

And that too for bowling the deliviries (like the doosra) that white batsman can't play !!

Why doesn't Brett Lee get reported for his chucking action ?
And all this in the wake of recent complaints in the white media that India is becoming increasingly powerfull in the ICC ! And incidentally, whu shouln't India become more powerfull ? Most of the ICC revenue comes from us...

Poor BCCI Will let BHAJI to lose confidence
by karthiappar on Dec 21, 2004 09:03 AM

The BCCI Should not give importance to such an action by ICC. This shows that only the Africans and the Asians are being pointed out. But Even Bret-Lee's Action should come into scrunity. Its enough we lost the quality bowling from Murali. I want BCCI to File a case against ICC for reporting a bowling suspect over BHAJI. ICC is supressing a quality bowler and his confidence to a huge extent. Mr.Dalamia should fight against it and we should not nod our heads for all that comes from ICC. We have a good set of senior players like sunil bhai, Cherry, krish, Maninder,Ravi, etc who have to comment on his action and not the biased ICC who is letting out England,Australia,Etc. If they can control sleding of Australians we can send bhaji for a test.

But why ?
by Sachin on Dec 21, 2004 06:52 AM

Now why in the world is players ONLY from the sub-continent and an exceptional zimbabwe written up for such actions ? Are players from England, SA, Aus and NZ perfect or near perfection. This is utter nonsense.

ICC has its Job Cut Out.
by Shankar. C.N. on Dec 21, 2004 05:13 AM

Very soon we can expect Harbajan's bare chested photo with 20 'sensor pads' strapped around being flashed in the pages of all magazines, papers and web sites! The next thing will be some stats on angles of min. & max. permissible for bending/not bending the elbow. ICC will be happy having done its job. So will be all the fans and the BCCI.

The 'Game' goes on.

Why no white
by yasho on Dec 20, 2004 11:48 PM

It is little surprising that their is no white player ever reported for illegal action. Every non white bowler who demolished a white batting line up was reported during the next series he bowled. Is it a coincident? I dont think so
