Lakshmans knock of 281 against Australia is the best i have ever sen.No words to express its quality and beauty.He is good in No3 spot.But unfortunately his slot was often changed for the convenience of other batsmaen including ganguli .Lakshman has shown great batsmenship against the genuine fast bowling of Australia and Pakistan when the other btsmen were afraid to come.Once the slot is often changed it affects the morale of the batsmen.Against weeker teams Dravid and ganguli are coming before Lakshman to improve their personal performance and to stabilise their position in the team.This is unjust.Lakshman being younger to Ganguli,dravid and tendulkar ,he should be preserved for the team and be encouraged.Many players in the team should have dropped on the basis of their form.There is politics with the selectors for the reasons known to them.A time will come when the selectors will be dropped and public will select the team with impartiality.
