Not much differene

It doesn't make any difference. Even if Sachin is there in the team he is not going to play with match winning performance. He is just playing for securing his position in next match.I think it is better to give retirement for cricket.
Now he is very good in acting in ads rather than cricket.

Hi Murthy,

This message is really 100% correct....People almost forgotten who is Sachin and what is Cricket, this is happening since we lost world cup.. Sachin wants the people to remember him always, that is why doing well in acting...If we observe his acting, day by day he is really performing well, because, he is really practicing a lot to act in ads rather than practicing cricket... this does not implies to only sachin, almsot all the indian cricketers are like this except one or two..

So, what I am requesting the people is, Please don't at all watch cricket for some months and see other games.. that may help our cricketers to put their effort fully and may get good results.....

Sachin needs rest
by KAUSHIK on Aug 23, 2004 12:08 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin needs some rest now. His injuries are toubling him a lot. As a result his show is down. During the Sri Lanka series, his presence in the Indian side was shown as the 'weaknesses' of the nation.

Injured Sachin
by Santosh Kurbet on Aug 22, 2004 01:09 PM

Its really unfortunate of not to have Sachin in the tournament. But one should really think of how come the problem was not detected before all the players left for Holland. It is really mis-management by our board to neglect this matter, similar situation was when India toured Australia & in Sri Lanka.
Is it not waste of money to carry injured players.

India's weakness factor
by KAUSHIK on Aug 22, 2004 07:44 AM  | Hide replies

During the Sri Lanka series, did someone watch Dean Jones' comments? Sachin's presence has been rated as one of India's weaknesses, not strengths. A time has come when we have to hear such comments!

I feel, a talent never exists eternally. So also Sachin's talents. I think we need to ask him to take rest, get fit, practice more and then come back to the Indian side again. But his position in the Indian side is kept 'reserved' for old superb times sake only.

I just hope he is fit for the next ad shoot !! As much as Kunjarani Devi, Anjali Bhagwat , Bhadur Prasad ( sic ) would be !

What a terrible week for us Indians !

1+ Billion people !!! And we are jumping with joy over the achievment of one Maror Rathode on winning a silver ???

The best ' Loser ' gets the ' Silver ' .

If this doesn't put us to shame ...nothing will !
