India won the match against Kenya. But it becomes difficult for India to play agaist Pakistan in absence of Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin is the only batsman who can put the pressure on Pak bowlers. Sehwag needs a guidance of Tendular to play against Shoaib Akhtar. So tomorrow can India be able to perform like world Cup!!
Stupid ask really it is... sachin should play his natural game.. that makes lot of bowlers shed their hairs early... And again gangluy and tend duo should open the innings and viru can be sent back to four who can murder any attack in late in the innings some one like razzaq does for his team... Then Laxman can be dropped from the team and his palce can be given to Kaif who can have much time to settle and play big innings.. Then inplace of laxman talented cricketer like AT raidu can b given place in team That will really boost the teams batting strength when pathan caome sat eight , zaheer and balaji, bajji to follow subsequently.. also team had to take some risks like when ther is an early fall of wickets some one like balaji can be sent and asked to upset the bowlers rhythm why this never indian team tried it.. What they loose by it? So neede tactics change that surprise opponent rather a well set format which an opponent many times exploit you...
I feel Sachin should be allowed to play his natural game instead of playing the full 50 overs. The perfect strategy for Indians would be to attack from both ends untill the fall of first wicket. We do have Dravid and Laxman who can take the responsibility of Sheet anchor in case we need that kind of approach. It wont be a bad idea to try Saurav Sachin combination for opening with sehwag coming in at number three, just to see if Ganguly can re-discover his lost form. If Ganguly ever gives Agarkar a chance, he should be allowed to bat at No.4 and from there see how he does. If he can fit in at that spot, India can increase its batting depth and give dravid some comfort by playing regular wicket keeper at the cost of either Laxman or Kaif.

I also agree that sachin should play his natural game instead of playing full 50 overs. It is because he is the no1 batsman in the world and has to carry the innings single handedly.If he plays his natural game ,in the 15 overs we have achieve lots more runs which may be advantage for next batsman to play easily.And also it is no doubt that sachin plays comfotable by his natural game.By his natural game and attacking attitude, he becomes a successful batsman in the world.He carries his no1 stage over the decades and i sure that he carries his position in the future by natural batting.

Sachin has already slowed down.This is one of the reasons for India's poor performance.As for Laxman he is excess weight .Cannot chase & field/ throw balls.Even in slips his fieding is slipping. God help India.
As Mr. Skipper said , that "sachin have to slow down as both of the openers are attacking players, and sachin have to play the sheet anchors role". Why not Sachin play attacking game after Sehwag gets out and during Laxman's Arrival ? If then also sachin decides to play as sheet anchor then what does Mr. Laxman and Dravid does ? As they are underlined as Sheet Anchor. And they have won us a lot of matches by playing the Sheet Anchor Roles and other batsman like Sachin Playing attacking role . (Like World Cup '03 - India - Pakistan match).

Yes i am fully agree with your comment, If possible then let Sachin-Ganguly to open the game and put sehwag on position 3. Actually i also think to give more batting practice to Balaji !!!.
I wish someone asked him what his (Ganguly's) contribution to the team would be - other than making comments on how good the team is ahead of tours and later coming back and defending poor performance. Need Ganguly to do some batting too!! Once again, without giving Karthik a chance, he states that he needs a batsmen who can keep - What a poor attitude from a captain?
