Watching him play those glorious knocks around the cricketing world, adjusting his innings according to the immediate team requirements and leading the boys from the front has become a familiar sight during Saurav's tenure as captain of Team India. Seniors and juniors have been contributing all that they are capable of on the given day. Tags of disability and handicaps are no more to be found in the baggage of our dynamic cricketers. Healthy write ups and reports are becoming the order of the day. We all know that we are capable of this and much more. We feel pleased and highly edified to see skipper Saurav Ganguly possesing many of these lofty virtues in his repertoire. More years of top class cricket and success in the area of coaching is what we would like to wish Saurav. His commitment, hard work, dedication, daring ways of experimentation, ability to back and stand by his men as well as his skills to articulate and express his mind with clarity is what makes Saurav an unique Indian in the international arena. Its good but there should be only one aim for him that of wining 2007's World Cup. And presence of Ganguly will take INDIAN Cricket team Higher and Higher to 1st position in the ICC World Ranking
I don't think Sourav can be a good coach because a job of a coach is to point out all the mistakes, be it minor or major.But Sourav he himelf is lacking the intensity , coz' if he really wants that the Indian team should be benefited then he himself should improve first.All know how his fielding and his running between the wicket is.I personally don't think that he pays any attention to this.But now if he's thinking of becoming a coach.He may not pay attention to the running and fielding coz' he himself is no good.A coach has to point out all the mistakes. No doubt he's the best captain for India but he may not fit in as a coach.But the best thing is to sit and watch.
I believe, Its the right time for ganguly to replace john wright, instead of playing another 3 to 4years, this will give a chance to any young talented player to perform.
This is a very special one coz it reveals many facts abt our most successful skipper Ganguly.We need him all the time now coz he knows the mindset of the game far better than others as he captains the side.He has the experience of over 120 ODI's & 30odd tests[as captain].Its a really nice interview , i personally thank the person who spoke 2 souravji and helped us know more facts abt his personal feelings.
Ganguly as coach to India team.....would be excellent if that is made official. I believe he is already a coach, not a player. Only way he differs for other coaches is that he swallows one of the 11 players slots. I wish he should become official coach as soon as possible and that way India can have a good allrounder in his place.
Ganguly i like his approach towards game positive n aggressive ..his tactics..i think he made a lot of contribution towards the game may be comming at 5th position...at a times i feel sad 4 him bcoz he is not getting response that he needed 4m public like other players do get like sachin..after doing so much hard work 4 team even after winning the game ..the media n public do praise(little bit extra) sachin than others..ganguly even then u set a example 4 others whatever play 4 india bring more victories 2 india
