During the last decade and a half Sachin has served Team India with the greatest distinction. His ability as bowler, fielder and batsman has liberated our Indian team from some of the handicaps and disabilities which are part and parcel of every sport. His thoughfulness and concern for the disabled is a fine gesture and we very much appreciate the way he has approached the BCCI to mobilize the state associations for the benefit of the physically challenged.
