I hv seen ur first 100, which was came against Aust. in 1994 at colombo.Im one of the biggest fan of u, even im a good batsman also.
My only one tips to your batting is !!!!!!!!!!!! if ur not able to score sometime, don't wait for the bad ball.Step up, hit a ball over the bowler head or mid on or midoff fielder.
i hope this will reach u n i expect same shot frm u in ICC champions trophy tht is also gainst Aust.Becz i know u will take Indian team to final in the same tourney.Becz. i know abt ur mental feeling now.U will do it.
This article is a pretty fair one, coz is talks abt Tendulkar's current style of batting. He is a 31-yr-old now and at this age he can really not b expected 2 go after the bowling considering the fact that he has been here 4 15 years. The number of games he has played speaks 4 itself. Its our luck that he is still 31 and has atleast 5-6years left in him wherein he wud have played atleast a staggering450 games. He can ofcourse try and come back 2 his 1998 style of batting if he makes his mind up, but with Sehwag around, its looking unlikely. Anyway lets accept him as he is,atleast coz he is still the prime batsman 4 us.
it was only right for sachin to curb his natural shot making in the recent past ( i.e. the past 3-5 years) because the indian batting line up was still going through it's weakest periods and rebuilding.now that we have a strong batting line up (especially in odi's) sachin should be given a free reign and asked to play like he did in the mid-nineties. it'll mean that he might not get as many hundred's but the beautiful savagery of his batting powers will be there to see. with the coming of age of the rest of the batting line up, we can afford to let sachin go after the bowling ....that itself will win us mny matches.
only because of his back pian Sachin cannot take his pull shots. At the same time he is not having that kind of fierce attitude while batting. Probably best of Sachin is past. Even as the opening batsman he is not able to score fast in one dayers. For him remedies will be to undergo proper treatement and to use light bat. That will make his carrier long. We want much more from him.
Whatever is mentioned in the article is true. When it comes to big matches and winning them too,Sachin has always failed. In my opinion Lara is the greatest batsman in todays cricket and if provided with a chance to play in Indian team.I am sure he will break all the records of Sachin. The amount of cricket we indians play is tremendous.
This style of batting does not suit him or the team at this poiint of time. Yes, He is still the best batsman in the world. His statistics show this. When we have a wall in the Indian team, He should go ahead and play his natural game with Cuts, Pulls and Lofted shots.
Sachin is the best. His performance is the one that talks for him. Why people keep saying he's not a match winner?? its surprising and dissapointing too. I wish sachin never goes through these kind of reviews. He is a match winner by any and all means. What went wrong in the Asia cup final is the batsmen who failed to score runs did that by wasting too many deliveries. someone not scoring runs is understandable but no one doing that is shameful. The top order should have atleast given chance to the tailenders to spend enough time in the middle which in other words is should not have wasted those many balls. The best way to let u all know how good sachin is is if a team has 11 tendulkars, that team will never ever lose a game.
Please stop writing these kind of articles about a man who has done so much for the world of cricket and especially for India. Please try to understand the importance of being Tendulkar and the pressure he has while playing in the middle. What r the other 10 players doing in the middle when Sachin was batting ?? ..If Sachin is the only man that u think win matches for India, Let the other teams play against this single man Named "SACHIN TENDULKAR" since according to your article, the other ten players wont play and they are useless. Again I am asking sincerely, Please avoid writing such articles on the Greatest Human and a Greatest Cricketer.
