sachin is impeccable
by chetan on Sep 19, 2006 11:39 AM

we all talk about the runs that he scores and we condemn him every time he do not perform according to the high standards set by him for himself which is virtually impossible for anyone else to achieve in his lifetime. what we forget is " the immense pressure the little champ is under every single time he goes out to perform in the field". no other sportsperson in the whole wide world undergoes the same as they are forgiven for being human beings but this does not apply to sachin , only due to the fact that we have never seen him failing in doing what he does best.

sachin's winning ability

Cricketfan, Sachin's 241 had little impact on the result in Sydney because of the lack of a good bowling attack. owlers have to finish off matches. Sachin's ill luck throughout his career is that he has had little support from other batsmen for a long time and later when the batsmen gathered round in Australia, our bowling was inexperienced. For any other country it would have been a match winning innings.

while sending the messages u should think of it.being a humanbeing how we can except sachin to get 100 in every innings.senders may be fans of other players,so they shouldn't belittle sachin.if others are better than him, then most of the fans like them only,y they like sachin?.

Then what is the worst

Ten Consecutive Matches and in only one of them sachin crosses a figure of 10 runs.

Need I say anything more.

I think Waqar Younus is hallucinating.

Why Sachin?
by Venkat on Apr 22, 2004 12:14 PM

Howcome sachin plays one innings so brilliantly, and fails miserably in rest of the innings of the series ?
(Ex: recent australia/pak tour)

Howcome, Sachin plays the league matches very brilliantly and fails when it matters a lot..like in semi-finals or finals ?
(Example Recent world cup, sharjah, Natwest)

Howcome I am able to think of any match we won from a losing position under sachin's guidance. (like how Dravid/Kaif/Yovaraj done) ?

I am not against Sachin...I like his batting style...But still, these questions arises oftenly.

Yes! We are Seeing the best of sachin

I totally agree with Waqar's statement that sachin has started to play the best cricket.
he is contributing someway or the other to the winning cause in both the test and the one dayers, the only thing lacking is the main role definetely, he is going to play that role soon,
watch out for him, he is going to see India in High.

The best thing happening to sachin is, earlier when he played well team is loosing and he did not get credit for his contribution, but now things changed and the next generation has come and there is change in players all over the world and our young players are top class we are winning more.

He is enjoying his cricket and he is going to play his best cricket now.
lets encourage this gifted cricketer.

You are seeing the best of Sachin

It's a pity that top cricketers like Waqar also get carried away by statistics. Tendulkar's 241 vs Aus did not help the team win the match. His 194 vs Pak was mainly because of Sehwag's dominance of the attack. Selfish Sachin kept on garnering runs, while Sehwag did all the leg work.
Tendulkar cannot be put in the same class as Lara, Waugh or Ponting in terms of playing match winning knocks in crucial fixtures. He may end up with double their tally by the time he retires and own all batting records (save Bradman's 99.96), but he can never be called a great match winner. Dravid and Laxman have played more meaningful and quality knocks than him already. Tendulkar should be sacked from the Indian team and replaced by Yuvraj or Kaif, who are better pressure players and play genuinely for the team.
