Their pitches are challenge
by yasho on Sep 30, 2003 10:35 PM

Their pitches are challenge because they support their bowlers. Our pitches are unsportsmanlike because they do not support their bowlers. Where does it say in Law of sportsmanship that conditions are made to support your own or in law of cricket does it say that spin bowling is not cricket. They crib about it because they dont know how to play them. Is it sportsman like that one bowls to endanger opponents and shall they be proud of it. Media where are you, why not stop talking about Ganguli and his warriors and talk about the biases showered on us.

Waugh is right. The same is going to happen to the Indians especially players like Sehwag,Ganguly, Bangar and other openers. May the good God protect the Indians. The tour of Australia is no joke and it does not look as though the Indians are taking it seriously. It is like the sacrificial lamb being taken to the altar to be sacrificed. John Wright is unsuitable for the job. Sunil Gavaskar is the best man suited to be India's coach for Australia. At the least Gavaskar should be hired as a tour consultant.

True Steven !!!

Tendulkar was put to TEST at Perth at the age of 19 & he overcame that test to become a great player if not the greatest..
the TEST ( exam ) at perth is worth passing even if it is just passing marks & guys who can pass it decently go on to become great players.

I dont know how Zimbabwes batsmen will face aussies attack but later we will also have to face them on WACA. Sachin tendulkar ,Rahul Dravid and V.V.S Laxman these are technically sound but what about our captain?. Gillespie and Brett Lee are lightening quick between the wickets. They will bang each and every delivery on rib-cage area or above it. If you are not a good puller or a back-foot player then you will be always among the possibility of getting injured. Last ashes series English tailender Alex Tuder , who received six stitches above his left eye . So , be prepared for WACA those who are not technically correct.
