I do not question Kirmani's credentials. In his playing days I had watched him play even in Buchi Babu tournament matches and was and still am an admirer of his. He was an excellent team man. I wonder on what basis he has been made the Chairman. It could probably be on the theory that a man from Karnataka alone should succeed a man from Karnataka. Though I am of the opinion that this kind of 'succession' is not above board, I wish him well.
Congratulations to SMH Kirmani... I am sure he will do a great job...We are all impressed with hi keeping especially on the leg side... I am sure he will be fair and bring new ideas to the selection process..
