hi to the indian team

guys pls score the runs at a faster pace. pls dont be scared of gettin out. and u cannot keep ramesh out of the team he is too good to be kept out...forget the technique and all those fundas...he is scoring and scoring at a fast pace....and guys esp commentators get off poor laxmans back.....he has got toomany runs to be kept out of the indian test team.due respect to dravid's knock ...john wright can u compare his knock with haydens...i am not comparing his knock with hayden...but the rate at which aussie's are scoring we need to lot of catching up...other wise we literally will be DOWN UNDER in another 3 months.

before i end when u frame strategies against australia
pls keep in mind the australian run rate...keep kumble out of the team ....we need only bajji and take agarkar he will strenghthen the batting and fielding as well....and if u guys want akash chopra in the team ...keep sehwag out and let ramesh open...also tinu yohannan will be an asset against the aussie left handers....and ganguly u r doin a grat job...sachin i am not eligible to comment ...he is god of cricket...aussies just enjoy his batting..

all the best .....

aby

J.A.John, you talk as though the entire Indian cricket unit is going to read your response. The things you type will be read only by other rediff readers and no one else. Grow up.

Ganguly is really wasting his talent by coming very low down the order. Why shouldn't he try himself as a opener?
Is he still scared of short balls. He should take gutsy decision that will really solve many problems.Despite their fine forms players like Yuvraj, Badani, Dinesh Mongia couldn't able to get into the test eleven because of this packed middle order.

He always deserved a position in team he is better than some inconsistent players ,it was a shock to see laxman out of world cup..how could you think of leaving out a player like him who scored more than 150 thrice with worlds best team,i bet even the best indian batsmen had done that against australia..i am true fan of him ..i hope to see him as future indian captain

don't you think sadagoppan ramesh should be given the chance of opening for indian cricket team as he also got some experience which will be very useful in Australia and he also got a useful century in india A's game against the kiwis.

Sehwag has been doing a good job as a test opener. There is no reason to bring him down the order.Anyway there is no place vacant in the middle order.Even Bangar has been doing a good job but there is a possibility of him failing down under. So Gambhir can be given a try in the KIwi series.

it is nice that u have realized that vvs laxman is a quality player and if i am not mistaken then he is having the higest total by an indiviual at austarlia he only saved from humilating defeat from the aussies in the second test at kolkata by scoring 281 in the second innings by giving india a chace to win the test match and then india went on to win the series it was a shocking news that he was dropped from the world cup squad so it nice that john and the selectoers are thinking about him once again

How about we say Indian will not have openeners? Only from number 3. Call openers number 3 onwards. That might take the mental block away from some of the players who open the innings. Or better yet hypnoize them with stuff like they are really in the middle of the innings.

Mr Prasad, I think you are just joking. Cricket is played with bat and ball and not With Hipnotizm and all those kinds of stuff.....!!!!!

Hey he is a great timer of the ball and has lots of class in him.i see a bit of Azhar in him (Leg glance and flicks). He needs to be patient and control his loose shots. He is an excellent player.

what about Nayan mongia? he would walk into the national side of most of the test playing nations.Besides he has contributed with the bat on many occasions opening or even at no 7. Top sides pick their no.1 keeper for the 5 day game even if a young promising keeper is waiting in the wings. eg Ian healy-Adam Gilchrist or Dave Richardson-Mark Boucher. But then again Nayan Mongia has to fight of competion from other TALENTED AND NATURAL keepers such as Deep Dasgupta.
