Not only our cricketers who will be playing against the New Zealanders and Aussies in the up-coming Test Matches and one-dayers, but also the cricket-loving public of India, are eagerly looking forward to some really competitive cricket. It should always be remembered that only one team can emerge as the winner and, ultimately, it is always the better team that wins. Let everyone, including those who will be watching the matches at the cricket grounds, be sportive and not indulge in activities which mar the proceedings. Regarding selecting the right team, it is always easy to criticise from outside and I take the liberty of recalling a quotation "a critic is a legless person who teaches running". So, let us all get ready for some interesting cricket and wish our team(s) every success in, what I know, would be their best efforts.
It is pitty someone outsider tell the benefits of Yoga to indian team. Australian player did a meditation on the ground pitch during the world cup final for eye concentration. What does our team go afteris fame and money.Because of cricket no other sport developed. SAD though.
This is may be a word to Sachin Tendulkar , who did a tremondous job in World Cup , But threw his wicket in the final as a Cold War between him & Ganguli.
Sachin should not worry about his personal thing when he is playing for a country.
More than the players, it is the selectors who need to think of the country rather than self. The recent selection of the emerging India team for the Colombo tournament shows how certain players (Stuart Binny, Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan and Shivraj Yadav) have managed to get into the team - more due to their godfathers than on merit - is pointer to indicate.
