Three days matches make no sense. It simply does not give enough time to complete the match. There is not enough time and chance for all the players to show their skills because the matches end up in a draw. BCCI should make these matches 4 days like they do in Australia. After all only 2 warm up matches are played. It is also meaningless to select 14 players when 3 players are sure to be left out. This means that 6 prospective and promising players do not get their chance to prove their worth. It must be terribly frustrating to those 6 players who are going to be left out. Hello BCCI jokers, are you listening?
Laxman is far more experienced and superior player than Sehwag is !if those two are enough criteria then take this, Laxman is a better thinker than Sehwag, call up Hyderabad team mates(one would be me) and ask them . Politics kept him out most of the time and he is the only batsman who has to prove himself over and over again. Come on guys leave him alone and let him show what he is . His calibre and talent is thousand times better than Sehwags,Singhs, Kaifs, and even the Ganguly's. He is on par wiht Rahul, Waugh's ect in terms of excellence in batting...give him a chance to excel !!! I wish Dinesh Mongia was never born. What made the selectors pick Mongia ahead of LAXMAN will always be a mystery and in Indian CRICKET mysteries are just a like Sambar in south india ..they just are a part of life!!!
Its good to see Munaf in the squad. The Selectors are willing to experiment with younth,by defying the tradition. Full 100 Marks to them.Good Luck for Munaf...We all hope 'He' is the 'One'.
