it's nice to hear abt the hiv person tossing coin.hats off to bcci.but more can be done by our super rich players .awareness needs to be spread.it is just another disease which we all are supposed to fight together.
Is this Mani cat dumb or what. Why expose the HIV fellow. He probably was leading a quiet life of suffering. Now you expose him not only to all in the stadium but through TV thus ostracising him further. This is madness. So the next time will he get a female to say she has loose morals to toss a coin. Hope no body comes forward for the toss.
i don't get u.

hiv is just another disease.....n no hiv person should be afraid to come reveal himself.suffering should be shared.
Dear Editor, I read the news that an HIV+ is to toss the India-NewZland Test at Ahamedabad. As I an HIV/AIDS social worker, It is very enthusiatic to me and my team. Convey my appreciations to the organisors.
This is avery good thing done by the ICC. The hiv+ people are also humans. They need our luv & affection. This should be followed by all other sports councils throughout the world.
Its a great move from ICC and other related association but should have done a lot earlier. Though the concept alone is very hard and effective, I would like to see the behaviour of the captains, Umpires and refrees toward the tossing person.
BCCI should ear mark a village every year for development & work with the concerned authorities & use its depth of coverage of its players to promote awareness of key issues like population control , basic education for all etc.. The BCCI may not neccessarily support the program monetarily but they can do it as a good gesture for the improvement of the nation.
I am sure most of the players will be more than willing to help out.
