Dravid wants specialist keeper

Rahul Dravid should forget about this specialist keeper thing atleast until India finds a world class keeper like an Adam Gilchrist or Mark Boucher. I don't think that either Parthiv Patel and Ajay Ratra are good batsmen and looking at cricket in today's perspective, it is imperative that the keeper doubles up as a batsmen. Rahul Dravid should see that India has been winning with him as a keeper and even his batting has improved with him batting at number five and guiding the team through at the end. There has been a very noticeable change in Rahul's batting as well and he seems to have increased his strike rate a great deal and it gives a feeling that he has already gauged the pace and bounce of the wicket when he comes in to bat when India chases. I think the step of asking Rahul to keep wickets should have come much earlier. I can understand Dravid's anxiety and that the job is not easy and is very painful, but being a team man and having suffered blows and knocks for the team while he was batting, I think that he is the right man for the job and he could be a role model to inspire others to achieve similar greatness. Who knows we might have an Adam Gilchrist around the corner.
