Before the world cup began, the Indian selectors said that Dravid would keep the wickets till the world cup, since the team didn't have time to adjust to a new keeper. Now that the world cup is over, the Indian team should not experiment with Dravid. Instead they should select a full-time keeper so that the balance of the team is proper. By asking Dravid to keep wickets they are burdening him with additional responsibility, which, I think, is very unfair. By keeping wickets at the world cup Dravid has done India a great favour. But now, it's time that he is allowed to focus on his batting, a department where India will heavily rely on him.
It is laughable to hear DAS in contention for India team. Poor cricketer? does not deserve a spot in Indian team as his statistic shows that he is best against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe. By the way his only achievement is better record than Tendulkar against stronger teams like Bangladesh and Zimbzbwe. Best option will be Sehwag/Laxman as opener followed up by Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly as a skipper, Patel, four bowlers and Fifth bowler or Yuvaraj/Kaif.
