Sachin has no reason to be under pressure
by Vikrant on Oct 31, 2003 11:09 PM

Sachin,
You dont have any reason what so ever to be under pressure play in front of your home crowd. It is so bacause, crowd is there to encourage you. They will not hate you if and only if you fail. So my suggestion to you would be take the advantage out of your home pitch instead of getting all nervous.

Thanks
Vikrant

KNS Srinivas
Hail Dravid
by KNS Srinivas on Oct 31, 2003 05:28 PM

Dravid has shown real maturity as a captain in the Chennai match. Pushing Yuvraj and Agarkar ahead of himself and Kaif to suit the situation where acceleration was required was commendable. And particularly on field he acted more maturely than Ganguly by not panicking by the initial onslaught by the Aussies and bringing in the slow bowlers. Though some people doubt about his aggression as a captain, I feel he is the most mature guy in the side and has already shown his maturity with a dream run last year. Anyways, let us hope he would continue with his brilliance in the Mumbai match and humiliate Aussies with two consecutive defeats.

Tri series
by Vijay Raghav Tiwari on Oct 31, 2003 03:14 PM

Dear Sir,

Wahtever performance might have given to us by the present 11 but i still feel that we need to have a place for one wicketkeeper batsman, if not available keeping by Dravid was a better option specially in one days. I fell personally that keeping Harbhajan has produced no big gains for one days go for Murali kartik who can bowl and bat both. The same can be said about Kumbale who is still a novice in batting nor very effective in one day bowling. Go for some better bowler youngsters.

Be more practical than book based good team. The team which performs better is called and praised.

India should play one more bowler in place of wicket keeper parthiv patel and dravid should keep wicket in one day as usual.

bowling problem
by Vasudev Kanchan on Oct 31, 2003 12:03 PM

India should be one more fast bowler. They will try Balaji instead of Ajit Agarkar. It is very difficult absence of Srinath,Balaji is better choice for opening with Zaheer.batting is not important present stage.Capitan should decide above this.Wish you all best Dravid.

take the challenge

India Vs Australia.....definitely its going to be a great match. Two sides, which i believe are equally strong are going to meet yet again. This time the pressure is going to be on Indians for the simple reason that we won the last game. Indians have this little problem of taking things easily once things look like favourable. But they should never forget the fact that Aussies are capable of doing anything. It always needs great effort and courage to beat the world champions and i believe we have those qualities. Stick to the same eleven that played so far. There could be a little temptation to replace Agarkar, but that would be wrong thing to do. He deserves his place. He deserves some confidence and then, i am sure he'll deliver goods. He is a player with immense talent as we all know and is only bowler with all the variety that a fast bowler needs to have. He's going to play an important role in this game and he'll emerge as "Man-of-the-Match", take my words for granted.
