In the era of television most of the crowd prefers to watch the match in home having some french fries and some beers on the table. there are some true cricket lovers who loves to go to the field and take a snap of theier favorite cricketer. I dont see any harm of allowing cameras if they are small and posing no threat to players. In so much of security people will feel staying at home and hence may reduce popularrity of cricket.. Mr.Dalmiya do something !!
It is good to hear that there is Elaborate security at Wankhede.Persons carrying crackers, plastic bottles, papers, match boxes, lighters, transistors, cameras, musical instruments and cellular phones would not be allowed to enter the stadium.if this rules will be there for ever, wankhde stadium can become as the foriegn stadium and the persons who clean the stadium, should not be lazy,if tey are not,Wankhade can become beautiful as the stadiums in south africa.
It is good to have the best possible arrangements for any event where a very large crowd is expected to gather. But the true 'TEST' will be to wait for the day when a Test Match between INDIA & Pakistan could be arranged at Wankede Stadium! That would be the Day the Mumbai Police would be tested and Mr. Dalmia could see all his efforts being brought to nought.
