Well it was as bad as India got beaten up in New Zealand.Why the hell BCCI is after fast track in India.Indian pitaches are know for spin then why they want change? Has England or Australia or New Zealand chaged their fast track for spin? New Zealand preparedthe worst track last time to suit their bowlers and Indians trubled like playing cars.Then Why india did not prepare spin track to suit their bowlers.Unless these white dominated ICC is given tit for tat answer they will not come to the terms.And why after all should bow when they r the main contributor to ICC fund? And most Importantly I think Tendulkar should be given rest aatleast for one series coz he has taken every thing 4 granted. He is at his last stage of hsi carreer.
The title of your story is incorrect (Dravid, Kumble top averages). Dravid tops in run aggregate, not batting average. VVS Laxman has the top batting average in the India-Kiwi series for India at 139.50.
Once again "the WALL" proved that he can bat in any conditions, but he surely missed chances of making it even better. two thin line nicks spoiled his chances.

The newzwelanders came well prepared and they played well adjusted well to alien conditions, vittori bowled superbly and batsmen lived upto their captains expectation, it was a wonderful contest lets hope that we are treated to the same in the comining trinational one dayers.
A very misleading title to the story. To say that Dravid was the Top scorer of the series is not same as saying that he toppped averages because Laxman has the best batting average for the series.
with the advertisement covering the average of Dravid i guess many people like me will be unable to know the average forget appreciating. guess rediff has to look in to its page layout.
