Why blame everything else but you?

PLease..............make Indian Cricket some sort of commercialized. Like the American NBA and then take the best players who perform there to fight for the national team. The guys like Sachin tendulkar, who choked in every major games including the World cup finals, are being treted as Gods and have a job for their life time! If they don't perform 5 times, cut them and give chances to new talents!

Take Politics out also! It is no secret that if you know North Indian Politicians, you got better chance of getting into Indian cricket!

Srinath's Article is absolutely true. The series has been disgusting for two reasons : PDead pitches and incompetent Indian Bowling and may be leadership.

Pepare lively pitches!

Srinath is voicing the opinion of millions of fans who love test matches to be interesting and not boring. The current series could be classified as the most boring series ever. The series may just not have been played and all the meaningless batting record can even be erased from the books because the bowlers bowled on dead pitches. The groundsmen ought to paid well and given orders to prepare wickets that will not last more than 5 to 6 days. They must also be told to prepare wickets that will help batsmen as well as bowlers as much as possible keeping in mind the local climate. Pitches should NOT be prepared to help India because if India wins on pitches helpful to them then they will suffer shameful defeats when they play overseas. A professional team should be able to win on a pitch that helps spin as well as pace.

Srinath's Articles
by Kricketer on Oct 22, 2003 12:19 AM

I have been reading the last few columns of Javagal Srinath.

What has impressed me in these articles is the clarity of thought and expression from Srinath on the points that he writes about - like in this article.

India probably would have done better if they had batted first [won the toss]. The fact that the result of a Test Match hinges so much on who wins a toss illustrates the plight of the pitches that they are played on.

Certainly better pitches are needed not alone to assist Indian Bowlers [On this Everyone KINDLY Read the End of the Series Stats and NOTE that Anil Kumble HAS PERFORMED BETTER THAN VETTORI IN ALL ASPECTS OF STATS - So Stop Bickering about Anil Kumble] but to keep the Spectator Interest in TEST Matches.

Keep up the good articles Javagal....
