It is not far to comment on Dravid and comparing with Ganguly since we have seen Ganguly left with no idea like last test match for many many times.
Ganguly never tried anything at all in the last test match to win the match where we should have won. Do not over rate him, it would be won't be good for Indian Cricket.

Dravid is a thinking cricketer.. We need to have match winning bowlers...
I don't know what the pitch preparation committees are trying to prove. Apart from inept bowling by the much touted Indian duo of spinners, what's the point in preparing such sleeping beauties?

This test match has made it clear that Indian team does not look like team anymore with absence of Ganguly.His mere presence can lift the spirits up as you opposition is never sure what his next strategy is going to be!!Hats Off to Ganguly...what we can't realize well in his presence,his absence has made us to realize.
Last match I commented on very little extras that Kiwis gave - despite our huge total. Look at their innings this time. If 25runs came via legbyes, bowling on legside was the culprit. If however 21runs came via byes, then our keeper is no good.
Rahul Dravid as a captain is a failure. He could neither rotate the bowler properly, nor did the field placing. He does not look agressive on field. Ganguly is definitely far ahead of him on these 2 issues.Let us enjoy Dravid as one of our finest batsmen. He should not be burdened with captincy. He has a class temperament as a batsman and he is an unquestionable team man.It is good to see his record book as a player who 'also' captained for Indian Cricket team-the highest honour a player pines for. Bring back Ganguly-the dearest, the proactive, agressive,intelligent leader.

This is so that they can eat it - and eat it - for carrying on with their campaign to replace Ganguly with Dravid. I hope it is clear that any more of Dravid and we will be back to where India were in the pre-Ganguly days: a hopeless team of eleven with one star batsman. the way the things r going on, every batsman walk onto the pitch walks of with a century pitch looks like a batsman paradise and no chances of a result. so its not a bad idea for some of our guys to go there and try for a most awaited tripple century when india put into bat.
