Hello all, its very good to listen to javagal, but I like to see him on the ground more . India has always been a slow starter, so be sure of a good victory in mohali. ALL THE BEST RAHUL and rest of guys and Sachin please make them all shut up.
Really? The Javagal express is out of action physically but is active mentally wearing coloured glasses. What else can you expect from Dravid's, Karnataka team mate, but to praise him unconditionally? It is a well known fact that India did not win because of the slow and monotonous batting form Chopra, Dravid,Laxman and Ganguly. Even in the 2nd innings Chopra was batting as if there was eternity at hand. Dravid was ok initially but later on instead of increasing the run rate just hung in there like a nightwatchman. Laxman did the same. Ganguly can be forgiven because of his thigh injury. If people like Srinath want to give their professional comments then they should forget about friendhip and post their comments fair and square without bias. His comments have absolutely no value because Dravid was no hero who was mainly responsible for NZ being able to hold out for a draw. Kumble and Harbhajan were also responsible for being gutless in their approach and body language. Did they expect NZ players to play like the Indians did when they were in NZ?
srinath, thanks for speaking out with whole heartedness... you shared so much about rahul, really its nice to read such things about rahul from one of his team-mates as well as friend for his fans. i really appreciate you for bringing out his role in the side and how well he knows and handles his role. no one seems to understand his dedication towards the success of the team rather than concentrating on personal records as most other indian cricketer does... gr8 rahul, gr8 sri and thanks
Excellent Article Javi! It's always great to hear about the routines of our genuine cricketing heroes. Dravid is simply superb and along with Sachin and Laxman; they are the cream of our batting line up. Like the fact, he meditates...along with his evident hardwork. No wonder; he is mentally unfazed in pressure! Keep telling us more inside scoop as only you can!
Dravi's a brilliant batsman, well read and all that. But he's also too much of a nice guy (remember him offering to keep instead of an injured Parthiv in England?). And nice guys don't make effective leaders. For that you need to be a no holds barred hungry fighter - a Mr Nasty if necessary - like Azharuddin and Ganguly.
