Sure sports in india need more mone. But in case of Cricket what it needs is more equity, distribution of funds in the domestic circuit. We have the richest board, we have some of the richest cricketres, whcih cricket has money. But lts loo at our grounds, lets look at the standards inside. Its pathetic. I think school football grounds in london might be better than some domestic cricket grounds in India And to solve this there has to be central interest, i.e. Board.
Also, we need more money for other sports. I believe in the past couple o years there has been increasing interest in other avenues. And this i think we should all credit to no one else but the sportspersons alone. They have taken it upon them that if their sports needs to be noticed they have to perform better. Out hockey team is performing better, Kerela and athletics have become synonyms in sports dictionary. This is great.
