balaji & avishkar salvi should be a chance in first test cricket match. there r plenty of batsmen, who will be in playing eleven. my choice is sehwag,chopra,dravid, sachin, ganguly, laxman, parthiv, kumble,harbhajan, zaheer,salvi or balaji. there is no chance to yuvraj, if akash chopra is taken as opener on the playing 11. its tough time to the Indian Captain to choose playing 11. sachin,sehwag & ganguly can bowl a bit and bowler slot can be sacri- ficed. in that case harbhajan should sit in the pavillion, because kumble is best bowler in indian pitches. by this yuvraj can be in playing 11. he can also bowl and a good middle order batsman.this is my view and message.
This is nothing new. Before the start of any test match, Mr.Wright brings up this issue. Let us face it. Is Sachin,Ganguly and Sehwag can be considered as bowlers who can take wickets then why is their record as bowlers in test cricket so pathetic? They are only part time bowlers to be considered only if the regulars fail big time in their job.
