Hey all u cricket lover ... Its all my fault ... I started taking interest in live matches and India started losing...sorry about that .. India performed well in WC because i was only reading match reports well after the match was over, (I was in NH, USA then u see). But for the final, I spend $10 and wokeup at 2:00AM to be at friend's friend's friend's place to watch the final, and boy after the match I was beaten by my friends :-( ... for watching the match live.
So I promise now that I won't watch/listen/enquire the live match, so that India can atleast draw 1 practice match ...
enjoy cricket and forget and forgive our puppet cricket heros ....
The person who wrote this stupid article has forgot the basic thing that cricket is a game. Don't find happiness in blaming the criketers or do u earn money .... I wonder. I am sure that they are giving their best. I believe that everyone will agree that games don't have hard and fast rules. That's what makes it interesting. I bet the author of this article would have hardly played any game. That's it.
Basics of MODERN CRICKET amiss here... True, very true. But what is modern cricket? Where can you learn it?The answer is the game which the Australians play is modern cricket and obviously, we have to learn it from them. There are two things which seperates them from others . One is MENTAL TOUGHNESS and the other is PHYSICAL STRENGTH. Though, one can say that everybody has it at that level then, I will say the Australians have it MORE. As if there DIL always MAANGE MORE. About physical strength we had seen that they are extraordinary in 1). Their running between the wickets- They convert one into twos and twos into threes. 2). Their feilding- The players who playing for last 12 years are as good and consistant as they were at the start of their carrier in fielding, catching , diving etc. About mental toughness so many things can be cited 1). They are not dependent on any single player for performances that s why there is no STAR PLAYER in their team. 2). They keep their run rate going even if the wickets are falling at regular intervals. 3). They never shield their tail- enders.
Dear Mr. Lavakare, I, on reading your article have been deeply impressed with your detailed study of the Indian Cricket team. I have some sugggestions to make... Your style of writing is one to be laughed at. Though the reader may be impressed by your knowledge about the topic, your sarcastic note and criticizing attitude are sure to put him off. If you had written this article in a bid to improve our cricket team, then your efforts have gone in vain. No reader would take your advice seriousy. A sporting and friendly attitude would have been a much desired improvement. Furthermore your criticising comments about the Indian players in the field are completely uncalled for. Even great fielders like Mathew Hayden of the Australian Cricket Team have dropped catches at a crucial point. It is something called "pressure" which I am sure that you have not felt in your luxurius "couch" life. There is a real world out there and it is no fault of our cricketers if people like you have no better things to do than criticise their every move. I am sure that you have never played in an International Cricket Match, so your comments are neither based on experience and only go to show your pathetic frame of mind. I apologise if any of my comments have managed to pierce through your cold, selfless exterior and hurt your feelings (if any). Regards, Mukund Multani
Best wishes to Sadaggopan Ramesh & Parthiv Patel Against Australian Squad. And Nice performance by little master Sachin, Virubhai,& get well soon DaDa(Sourav Ganguly)& also good bowling performance by Zaheer Khan & Ajit Agarkar.
